There has been much discussion on the Corvette forums about the lack of Zink 
and ZDDP in new automobile oils.  A lot of the engine builders and engineers 
are recommending  Rotella or Delo for the pre catalytic converter cars. I 
myself have changed to  Rotella T synthetic 20W40 in both my 67 427 Corvette 
and my  65 Tiger  289 HiPo.             -Bill  B9470661
