This may seem like a dumb question but I'm going to ask anyway. Wouldn't all dipsticks made for a ford 260/289/302 protrude the same amount into the oil pan? The reason I'm asking is that when I put in my 347, I also replaced the oilpan and just bought a new dipstick from the local Autozone. If it is marked incorrectly, what engine damage would occur with too much oil? Too little oil is a no-brainer. -Bob B9471388 |
