silicon brake fluid and stop switch

Hey there sports fans,

When my most recent stop light switch failed this fall, I asked Rick at 
Sunbeam Specialties about why they were dying so quickly as I was ordering a 
new 
one. 

He asked if I was using silicone fluid. I said yes, and he said, "well there 
you go. I don't know why they fail more quickly with silicone, but they 
do........"

So sayth Rick.
