Dan,
The brake light switch is after the booster so it sees the same pressure
that the brakes see. If you have enough pressure to stop the beast then you
have enough pressure to activate the switch. There are some issues with the
use of synthetic brake fluid and proper operation of the switch. If you're
using a synthetic, other listers can fill you in.
