Yup, Rob,
That is the "Miles". At that time (1956) he was probably racing his
"Flying Shingle" MG special.
Ken was deeply involved in racing the Sunbeam Alpine in the 60's. He
later worked for Shelby,
and undertook a private contract with Rootes, and Ian Garrard, for a
Tiger prototype, since found and restored, and
perhaps for sale again.
Shelby's offering was chosen, and was shipped to England for
presentation. The rest is history,
