       Thanks for your nice reply.  Had I been entering a left-hand turn, I 
doubt I would have stayed on the track.  Since it was a tight right turn, the 
right-front corner was always on the verge of locking, except for that one and 
subsequent laps.  I wish now, I had gone back and checked my lap times --- for 
all I know, it might have been my fastest of the day!
