You should be able to install a bottle similar to the windshield
washer bottle in the forward most corner on the drivers side. You will
need to make an L bracket for support. I did this on my stock Tiger and it
is a tight fit with the stock parts but you should have room there now with
the surge tank deleted.
Feels good to be this close to driving the Tiger doesn't it. Just
proceed slowly and check all the systems before you make any long trips.
Happy Motoring and welcome to the adventures of Sunbeam.

Subject: Radiator Overflow
The resto-mod is finally done. 12 years and 8 months elapsed time, many
thousands of my own labor hours, many hundreds of hours of your advice and
encouragement, many 10s of thousands of dollars, 100s of interesting looks
and comments from the wife. The only thing standing between me and a shake
down voyage are some fluids. Brake, coolant, engine oil, fuel. The diff
gear oil and transmission oil are already in. Assuming no new tasks arise
out of the addition of these essentials it will be show time. Assuming show
time does not include any pyrotechnics or non-passive engine or drive train
failures it will be road time. Wow!
One item I'm a bit stumped on is a radiator overflow tank. I have deleted
the surge tank and the radiator now has a filler cap on the passenger side.
I bought the smallest aftermarket overflow tank I could find around here, I
had planned to mount it where the surge tank used to go but it won't fit.
I'm looking for leads on very small overflow tanks or suggestions on other
mounting possibilities. I thought possibly of using the original surge tank
reconfigured as an overflow tank but because of some non-stock engine
configuration issues that might not work either, if anyone has tried this
I'd like to hear about it too.
Thank You for you input.
