I've always been able to eventually get to #8 (either through the trans tunnel plug or by jamming my hand under the master cylinders and getting a socket on it). A bigger problem is getting the plug wire on and off of the plug. There is no way (or is there?) to get your hand directly to that #@##^^!! #8 plug and press the plug wire onto it after you do finally get it re-installed. The same goes for getting the plug wire off when you go to take the plug out. One solution I can think of would be to modify the trans tunnel and put a small "door" over #8 that would be big enough to just put your hand right on the plug. Actually, that would make getting to #7 a bit easier too. Steve Sage |
