Hi David, If you've got a vacuum advance diaphragm on there, then it points to the advance direction - turning the distributor towards the advance diaphragm will advance the timing. Generally though, it's pretty intuitive once you've got things in there with the timing light hooked up. You just turn the distributor in whatever direction is required to set the timing to the spec you intended. Best regards, Theo |
