To toss out a couple things to consider if you want to do your own
Ackerman analysis and Tiger steering redesign:
1) Don't forget to comprehend initial toe-in as part of the analysis.
2) Consider that "perfect" Ackerman may not be optimal steering
geometry for high lateral-accelaration driving (road course/auto-x) due
to the tires operating at high slip angles and the reduced load on the
inside tires.*
* From the text "Race Car Vehicle Dynamics" by Bill and Doug Milliken.
For performance cornering applications, these guys recommend parallel
or slight reverse-Ackerman geometry, of course they are not considering
any street use. You may want to consider the optimal balance for your
needs.
