In the 60's, the Ford Industrial Engine Division was the only authorized arm
of the company to sell Ford engines, so that is who Rootes had to seal with.
Just because they came from that division, doesn't mean that Tiger engines were
meant to be stationary or tractor engines. If they had been, they would
probably have had different cams, distributors and iron carburetors with
governors.
