The nut on the hard tube is 3/4", use a flare nut wrench here.
The large special fitting is 1.42" which is 1 27/64", try a 36mm wrench
here.
Once you get it apart put some never seize compound on the flare nut treads
and on the barrel of the special fitting.
Hope that helps.

Subject: Oil Filter Problem
Hello-I'm trying to change the oil filter for the first time on my new Tiger
and I'm having a problem loosening the top nuts. My car still has the
original oil filter set up. Can someone give me the exact sizes of the
wrenches?
Are they American or Metric? I just sprayed some WD40 on the nuts to try to
help loosen the nuts. Can anyone give me some suggestions on how to solve
this
problem?
THANKS for your help
RON
