Another source is the antenna lead itself. It
collects the interference and delivers it to
the back of the radio. The only way I know
to kill this source is to go down to Radio Trash
and buy a toroid coil. The is a small rectangular
device used on PC's to eliminate unwanted signals.
It is basically a ferrite material surrounded by
plastic and clips in two. Insert the radio's
antenna lead though the rectangle hole and
make at two or more loops and close to the
antenna's end as possible. This will effectively
trap all signals traveling down the cable.
That and filters on the generator, regulator,
electric lead to the radio, suppressed plugs
and wires, and good grounds are about all
you can do short of a tape or CD.
