Isn't it true that the large projection on the pump is an unmachined cast
surface, and therefore subject to whatever casting inaccuracies Ford specs into
their products? Remember that the Tiger water pump has a standard hub, but
pressed on backwards...
Whatever water pump I have, has a conventional hub, so that I can use standard
Ford pulleys and fans.
