Dave,

My Rolex (fine Swiss watch, no?) Doesn't keep time as well as my older
Seiko quartz.

The old technology, at it's finest tolerances, can't beat the modern
version at production tolerances. So just get used to the finest
workmanship on an outdated design.

The March Hare said to the Mad Hatter: " I can't understand why your
watch isn't working! When I repaired it, I used the very best butter,
you know!"
