My extinguisher was Halon (no white crusty residue) and despite my inappropriate mounting, proved to be handy & did save me from an engine fire. But after discharging it, I couldn't get it refilled because Halon is now found to be dangerous. So what is currently being used? Is the crusty crap back in style? Al J. |
