That Holman/Moody is averse to Tigers is an understatement. The Holley 650
was in need of a rebuild, and I asked Lee if he would do it to keep the
motor purely H/M. Nope. The carb, off the car and boxed up, was not
allowed back in the shop.
I'm at work now and can't access it, but I'll post the e-mail I received
from him explaining why he wasn't going to work on any piece of a Tiger
later this evening. I should have posted it a long time ago -- almost fell
out of my chair laughing when I got it.

Having owned a car, MKII #598 now in the capable hands of Brian Moss,
which had an engine prepared by Holman Moody, I would be surprised if
another one existed. I base this on the opinion voiced to me by Lee Holman
himself. To say that he HATES Tigers is an understatement.
After buying the above mentioned MKII, I called Lee whom I have been
aquainted with for several years. I told him I wanted to come by his shop
and get some additional background info on the car. He told me I was
welcome but not to bring the Tiger. I thought he was joking but believe me
he was not. He informed me the Tiger was not allowed on the property. He
said his mechanics HATED that car.
Don't get me wrong. Lee is a very nice guy. He just doesn't care for
Tigers. As he said to me," there are nuts and bolts on that car that even
God couldn't get to." I think the chances of H/M working on another one are
slim although stranger things can happen.
Brian Moss can back this up since he has had several conversations with
Mr. Holman. He doesn't like our marque but he does perform magic with power
plants.
