There's a Mk II Tiger up for sale on eBay by Sean Carolan (ebay ID:
b382100@hotmail.com) I've bought some parts from him and consider him one of
the good guys. Currently, it's at $16,100, but the reserve has not yet been
met.
Here's the eBay number: Item #590285675

Here's the link (hopefully!):

OK, folks, time for some networking. There've been a few comments about
the
$58K price on that Mk2, and what's reasonable or not, so lets do some
research.

Does anyone know any recent sale prices for top quality Mk 1/1A's? For top
quality Mk2's?

I don't mean asking prices. I mean the real sale price. Lets not include
cars with famous histories, or other price altering features. And lets not
include unverified fourth hand rumors, or auction prices where booze was
served. Names are not required.

It used to be really easy to get "upside down" in a Tiger restoration (not
while cornering, but when the restoration costs more than you could recover
in
a sale). What's reality these days?

Stu
