Read your message a little fast.  I have had Edelbrock carburetors, and they are
smooth, nearly leak free, and very good. Except, they only come with side hung
float bowls.

So, all previous comments apply, but to the Holley.  So get the center hung
Holley, instead of the conversion kit suggestion.
