Scott,
I got my center pivot floats off of a junk double-pumper. If you go this
route, be sure the rear accelerator pump is blocked, or it will leak gas.
Otherwise, it's a pretty simple swap and you get rear metering jets to boot.
Now, on the other hand, if you have twin SU's on a '64 right hand drive
Elva Courier, then it could be the distributor wire shorting against the
exhaust manifold. ;-)
