Tonneau cover posts are available with threaded end and nut. What you do is
drill a small hole through the second layer of metal in the trunk area
directly through the enlarged hole to find out from inside the trunk where
it is. Then you drill a hole through the second layer of metal in the trunk
large enough to pass a nut driver through to tighten the nut on your new
post. PRoblem Solved!!
