You dont have to butcher you Holler to remove the choke plate. It simply pulls out of then shaft. being held but just two tabs. Use a screw driver to spread the split shaft and pull with your fingers. Unkook the choke rod and remove the shaft. While you are at it remove all the other choke parts. Who needs them anyway.
