Folks,
Sorry to say it, but I looked through about 100
receipts and was unable to find the Ford part number
of the speedometer cable that fits a Tiger II exactly.
Most of the receipts had little info on exactly what
the part was, so I may have looked at the receipt
and not known it was the cable.
Totally different subject:
Does anyone know the center of gravity (CG)
height for a Tiger?
If someone has a scale that can weigh their
Tiger when I could calculate their CG.
Need total weight of the Tiger on level ground.
Need the weight on the rear wheels (on level ground).
Now put the front tires on ramps and redo the weight
on the rear wheels. Also need the ramp height recorded.
With this info the CG height can be computed.
Other info handy would be the height of the bottom of
the front cross member and the height to the bottom
of the differential (to allow the CG number to be
adjusted for other Tigers that may have different tires
or springs.)
