Mark, et Listers,
I guess this as good an excuse as any to bring up an idea maybe some of you
others out there have also been considering. That is, maybe it's time we
made up a list of "Frequently Asked Questions" or "FAQs". We could start
with identifying the ten most frequent questions and then solicit
volunteers to summarize the various responses they have generated; not
always in agreement of course, but as fair and even-handed as possible.
Hey, I'll volunteer to do one or even maybe two. The Laifman, if history is
any indication, should be up for at least five or six. We may have a hard
time finding someone to do the Alger FAQ, but the rest of them shouldn't be
too terribly difficult. Heck, some of the better ones might be posted on
Mark Olson's Tiger Web sight, .

At the very least, we could download them to the new subscribers to get
them properly initiated, or oriented I mean
Oh yes, synthetic brake fluid. OK, I'll bite; isn't ALL brake fluid
synthetic? Is this maybe just a marketing gimmick? Or are we maybe talking
some form of silicone, non-moisture-absorbing, non-paint-removing,
don't-plan-on-using-it-if-you're-planing-on-really-driving-it kind of
stuff? What's the DOT rating on this stuff; DOT 4 or 5? I'm just about out
of the last of the Castol LMA, so I'm a little interested myself.
