Tony - If they haven't been tampered with previously, the boot letters are fixed with a spire nut (my local hardware store calls them flat speed nuts). I've used just a pair of pliers and gentle pulling and twisting to remove them. Be patient, 'cuz the lugs will snap off if you get too aggressive. The letters at the front of the car are attached differently, using a friction bush to capture the lugs. The putty knife method works at that end. "Ole" |
