I would say put the new technology into a newer exotic. I like a tiger
without all the "jazz". My 2cents (worth a lot less usually).

dream engine for my Mark I Tiger, but am now down to deciding on
components. I would like to use as many of the parts that I already have as
possible, but am willing to buy new if I must. My goal is a reliable
engine that will start and idle, have horsepower in the mid 300 range
normally aspirated, and able to take occasional nitrous oxide use. It will
be used 90 % street and occasionally dragged and/or road raced.

Edelbrock torker single plane manifold, and a NOS cheater nitrous system. I
have a stock open 2.88 rear end and top loader. Believe it or not the above
gives pretty good performance on a balanced 260 with only a slightly hotter
than stock cam.

or ?), Pistons (forged or hypereutectic) and what else I should spend money
on. Has anyone had particular success with a certain combination in similar
service, your input is welcomed!
