A good idea, Bob.  You can actually look under your hood at night and see cross
fire, if it's there without road load.  BTW: If you are using Pertronix, instead
of those messy points, it is stable as h---, and doesn't ever need dwell
adjusting.  Can be used with any MSD cap discharge system, but if you are just
using a "Hot" coil, make sure it is the kind specified for "points type igniton"
or the current will be two high for the electronics.  I used an MSD coil, but
had to use their supplied resistor to get the voltage right.  Pertronix also
sells a coil.  Again, won't matter with a CD system.
