     Roland,
     
     I remember alot of folks associating Armorall with cracked dashes.  I 
     know my wife used it on her '77 Camaro and till the day we sold it, 
     the dash was sticky.  Almost as though it was softened.  As you said, 
     I too am really leary of using it.
