Larry,
The Maserati Quattroporte is one of the best looking sedans I've ever
seen. In the '60's, as well as today, it is quite a lovely piece of
work. As I dimly recall, it used the V-6 designed by a three country
consortium and used in Volvos (sic), the Citroen "Maserati,a Maserati
(Quattroporte?), and the Irish/American DeLorean Snowmobile. This was an
entirely new design, starting with a blank piece of paper, and somehow
the Italians, Swedes and French managed to get a 90 degree V-6 out of
it. Can you believe it.
Wouldn't worry about performance, but it sure looks great rolling down
the road.
