I know of an excellant sources for ventilated rotors.
See this Spontelli guy. I understand he has a magic way of parting a
whole disc from it's hub, without any significant damage.
Now if he could do it to both sides, it ought to be a simple matter to
machine threaded holes on the perimeter of the remaining hub and bolt
those motorcycle thru-drilled rotors on.
This would be a great advantage, as they can be replaced when they wear.
One could, of course, drill one's own rotors. I can absolutely guarantee
it will not fail between the drilled holes from long experience. Nothing
ever tears along the dotted lines.
