In Michigan my Tiger is titled as a 'Rootes 66'. I went to the DMV to buy tabs. The clerk behind the counter looked at my registration and laughed. He asked if my car was named after the old T.V. show about the two guys driving across country. My car was titled and registered as a "Roote". When I purchased, the DMV insisted that it be registered under the same brand name shown on the bill of sale and previous registration. So it's a Roote. In Vermont we don't get smogged. If we did it would be interesting to try to find mine on their list. Mark |
