About a month ago there was a letter from an owner who wanted Rootes
Forest Green #86. He went to a paint supplier who could only match the
original color in enamel. He had a quart (minimum order) made up and
his painter sprayed it on a piece of metal. He then took the sample
back to the paint supplier who "scanned" it and made up the correct
color in Acrylic.
Will the original source of this experience please reply. I thought I
had saved the original e-mail, but it's down there below the hole in the
bottom of my hard drive with other things I was sure I "saved".
