Well, fancy that! Joan and I just completed a run _up_ the coast and back in the '54 Sunbeam Talbot Alpine. After being in the sun for three days, we put the roof on to keep out the sun for the return trip. We tallied 947 miles total, average fuel consumption 27.3 MPG, oil consumption zero!
