Stiffening the rear set-up invites oversteer. Car is an oversteering operation in stock form to begin with. Thus, most run a front bar only to reduce oversteer and bring on more neutral handling. Most racers run a 3/4 or 7/8 front bar, stock front swaybar for the street being 9/16.
