Hi, Bill,
Our "Horny Toad" (LHD 59 AN5) has a 1275, .40 over, street cam,
balanced, with headers, 3.9 rear and ribcage, and is a screamin' mimi
blast to drive.
"Lumpy" (RHD 60 AN5)on the other hand is a staid ol' country gentleman,
orig. 948 with oil pressure on the low side, H2 carbs, headers, smooth
case, 3.9 rear.
The contrast between the two is amazing, and while I will probably
replace the 948 with a 1098 or 1275 (I have spares of both) one of these
days, I do not want a hot car in RHD, as I would probably be tempted to
pass more cars on the road, which is not recommended unless you have a
passenger leanin' out to see oncoming traffic <G>.
Am attaching pics, which will be stripped by the list.
Regards,
Ed Townley
