U-Haul has their own wiring sequence for their 4 connectors. Not industry
standard as all trailer manufacters use. If your vehicle has a flat 4
connector you have to use (buy or so they tell you) "their" special
conversion connector. I have a cheap U-Haul conversion connector I made in
Florida when I rented one of their trailers to haul 'stuff' to Maryland.
It's a male and female flat 4 connectors with the color coded wires
rearranged to match U-Haul's trailer wiring.
