How come I never saw Larry on my block when I was growing up?

The worst thing that could happen as a kid was if a neighbor complained
about me, boy would I be in trouble. In this example, even if the cop was
wrong I was taught at an early age to answer, "Yes sir", and "No, sir." I
never would have said let me call my mom because if I reached her she would
have told the cop to handle it and then bring me home so I could be punished
much worse. No questions asked.

The problem with that kid, and confirmed by Biff is that he never gets in
trouble. His mom and him went on TV to complain. My parents would have
been to ashamed to go on TV because I mouthed off to a cop. Sure kids do
things wrong, but most of the time if you are polite it will not get to that
point.
