Neither...
scattered showers will do just fine, with a little "light" to "heavy" thrown in
as appropriate, "followed by" (general forecast).
They should limit specifics considering we're talking about mostly a "dynamic"
situation.
And another thing....it seems all areas of precip today are referred to (rather
dramatically?) as "storms". Channel 12 in CT
is ridiculous in this respect.
They even have a guy (I can't believe he's really a meteorologist) referring to
precip radar echos as "blobs". This guy must have
a 6th grade education, if that.
Like a lot of everything else, it is dumbed down apparently for the "lowest
denominator". Really sophomoric stuff.
I mean it's embarrasing just to have to listen to this sh-t so I use cable
Channel 118 for weather which, in addition to being for the reasonably
intelligent has some real nice looking meteorologists of the female persuasion
which makes the AM wake-up a bit easier to take.
