My nephew's a meteorologist too.  He hates it when people ask him what the
weather forecast is.  To him, it's kind of like asking a doctor to diagnose
your ailments at a cocktail party.  Fortunately, my nephew is an "observer"
rather than "forecaster", and he tells people this so they don't bother him
with such requests anymore.  It avoids the risk of being wrong when people
ask   (-:
