Just before BL went out of producing LBC's there was a Sptifire
commercial. The commercial went something like "Let's see how well
the Spit does this, then that", all safety and speed related. At the
end, the voice over said "Let's see how well the Spitfire stands up
to running into this brick wall" The Spit charged at the wall and at
the last moment, the driver swerved around the wall. Fade to black
and the words" "At British Leyland, we aim to miss" came on.
Never forgot that
