Turnbuckles by door

Interesting question for those in the "know".  The "dot" turnbuckles by the
door, are yours popriveted or put on with small screws?  Can decipher that
from the parts listing and I do know originally mine were pop-rivited on but
how about others.  I have heard many conflicting answers, probably due to
repaints etc.. Biff are you paying attenion:)  How are old grays installed?
