Fellow Listerati Paul Tegler has a wonderful web page filled with much
useful information. if you go to www.teglerizer.com/alternator/index.html
you will dfind his Lucas to Delco alternator swap. I used this reference to
do this to my 1974 Midget after having two Lucas alternators die in
endurance rallies. Of course I used a big mutha 94 amp unit, but that is
because it was free ;-) Talk about overkill! As long as you stick to the
"single wire" Delcos, it is quite easy.
