I opened that auction with the intial bid of $150. and then watched for any
activity all week. Right before the end of the auction I decided to up my
intial bid to 200. and then rethought that and upped it to one increment
above $250. I stopped there thinking I am just opening myself up to being
schilled by the seller.
So yes, I probably would have paid more, and it maybe my own fault for not
having bid more, but there will be other 1275 engines around.
I think I would have felt better about the process if I had the chance to bid
against the competion.
Would I have done the same thing?
Maybe
Would I have felt good about myself?
No
What would your reaction be, if the last minute bidder had been some one on
the list?
I for one do not bid when I see that someone else from the list has bid.
