FWIW, I believe Vizard recommends replacing the seat whenever you do a rebuild. Don't have my copy handy right now though, so I can't tell you exactly where he says that. I remember it's on a page with some pics of the oil pressure relief assembly. Shouldn't be too hard to find. But it stuck in my mind for some reason - maybe cause it seemed kinda unusual to me.
