Had a great time at the San Diego meet yesterday with all the other
listers that attended. While I was driving up to the paddock for my 2nd
place trophy and pictures I turned the car off a few times because the
line was slow in moving up to the award platform. I did not want to
overheat while I was getting an award! Every time I went to start the
car the starter would just whine like it was spinning up, but there was
no engagement with the ring gear. Is this the bendix? Is the shaft
just turning, but not throwing the bendix towards the ring gear. My car
is determined to embarrass me one way or another.
