I have to use a life-line. I'd like to ask the audience.
My 67 Sprite (with 1275 and rubber hose to the slave cylinder) uses a
1/4" steel pipe up from the rubber hose almost to the master cylinder.
However, just prior to the master there is a union reducing the pipe to the
more typical (for brakes) 3/16" line which then enters the master through
an adapter. (This may be a Frankodification) (Claricization)
A lister (and you know who you are) with a 71 is asking for the complete
steel pipe.
Question. Am I correct that the ENTIRE pipe is meant to be 1/4" diameter
with BOTH ends having a 7/16"-20 male nut? And, does the pipe have the same
flare on the master end as it does on the rubber hose end (which I know is
a double or standard flare)? Oh, the catalogs say the pipe is 55". ...
true? (LHD)
The OE catalogs obfuscate this information, and Moss ignores it.
