I just did this job, too, to replace a leaking front seal. Engine is
still jacked up awaiting a new motor mount, since one had delaminated.
Chuck, you may have forgot that the exhaust system has to be released,
too. I just unbolted both manifolds since I have a header that curves
down under the car.
How are you going to torque the nut back on, BTW? Just put the car in
gear and turn the bolt as tight as you can get it?
