1) Munich: Definitely, the BMW museum-it's round, you walk up a spiral ramp.
If it's still possible to rent a Porsche for one day, drive
down to Garmisch,
see if you can beat my time: 70 miles in 35 minutes.
2) Stuttgart: The Mercedes museum. The Porsche museum was quite small,
(15 years ago).
Best dinner: The Park Hotel (SW part of town)
3) South-near Garmisch: see Neuschwanstein, the castle that inspired Disney's
Cinderella castle in Orlando.
4) Rothenburg: a preserved Medieval city-worth the drive
5) Mulhouse: this is over the border, in France, a quick blitz and you're in
the French
National Auto museum, the largest collection of Bugattis
in the world,
and 50-60 Ferraris, as well. Also, a terrific
MacDonald's, that accepts
Visa!
Drive those Autobahns, while speed is still free. Outside the cities, there
is no speed limit.
