Hi Glen,
I'm running the exact setup you mention here. I got the kit from <gasp> JC
Whitney about 7 years ago. No problems at all. The front end tracked much
straighter, and the ride was noticeable more pleasant. No road feel was
lost, and the car felt tighter, in a good way. I felt much more confident
cornering at speed with the tube shocks installed vs. the lever. I don't
have any skidpad numbers to report, just my tactile (read butt) feedback.
That's my take, and of course, YMMV.
