Hey Spridgeteers

I'm seeing the talk on the 210 trannies as 5 speed conversions on the A
series motors. I always thought it was the 510 trannies that were a direct
bolt up installation. Is this correct?

Or is the 210 a possibility but needs conversion plates to make it work?

I'm one of those that deletes a lot of the beer/cat chock block chatter due
to too short of days and retrieves my email at three different locations so
I never know where I've read the particular subject matter.

Also, any ideas on how to slow the earth's rotation down so that we can get
a few more hours to work on the spridgets and drive them too?

You need the 5 speed out of a 79-82 210 I got one last
week at San Benito Wreckers for $150.00. This
is in Hollister CA. I asked if he had more, and
he was fairly certain he did. He would have sold
it to me for $100 with no warranty. I should have
done it as I am under the impression they may be
closing up shop. I called about 15 wrecking yards
in the area before I found one, they all say that
car is to old and there is not enough demand for parts
to keep them around. Someone might start a nice little side
business buying up these all these 210 trannys before
they disappear.
